DISTINCTLY DECO COLLECTION
The 1920's - 1930's elegance and style has been my overriding influence whilst making silver jewellery ever since I first began. The Distinctly Deco Collection reflects the elcletic design style which had its origins in Paris. Art Deco was named after the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes that was the culmination of high-end style moderne in Paris. Art Deco moved away from the soft pastels and organic forms of Art Nouveau and embraced influences from many different styles and movements of the early 20th century with most emphasis being placed on geometric design.
